กิจกรรมนี้จะจัดขึ้นในห้องชั้นสองของศาลา "ที่นี่ไม่เปิดให้บริการ" ซึ่งอาศัยการทำงานศิลปะในฐานะเครื่องมือในการเข้าใจความเป็นจริงทางสังคม โดยที่ในศาลานี้ ศิลปินกว่า 12 ท่านได้สำรวจรูปแบบต่างๆของการอพยพของผู้หญิงและชาว LGBT+ คนไทย (และฟิลิปปินส์) ที่ย้ายถิ่นฐานไปประเทศเยอรมัน ทั้งเส้นทางแรงงานดูแล งานค้าบริการทางเพศ การแต่งงานข้ามชาติ นอกจากนี้ ศาลานี้ยังตั้งอยู่ที่ถนนพูนผล ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในศูนย์กลางของร้านนวดและคาราโอเกะของจังหวัดภูเก็ต
ร่วมกับศิลปินโอ๊ต มณเฑียร พวกเราขอเชิญชวนกลุ่ม LGBT+ (รวมถึงผู้สนใจทั่วไป) ในภูเก็ตมารวมตัวกัน วาดรูป กับนายแบบเปลือย และอ่านบทกวี พูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนเกี่ยวกับสิทธิ ความเคารพซึ่งกันและกัน และเรื่องราวระหว่างวงการผู้ค้าบริการทางเพศและ ชาว LGBT+ ซึ่งก็มีประวัติศาสตร์ร่วมกันมาเป็นเวลานาน ศิลปินจะนำทุกท่านเรียนรู้วิธีการวาดรูปที่จะ เก็บ ความเหมือนจริงของร่างกาย รวมถึงเล่าเรื่องต่างๆเกี่ยวกับถนนพูนผล หรือภูเก็ต
การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมนี้ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่าย ทีมงานจะมีกระดาษวาดรูปและอุปกรณ์ต่างๆให้ฟรีในงาน และจะมีนายแบบมาโพส สามารถเดินเข้าเดินออกได้ตามสะดวก แต่กรุณาลงทะเบียนเพื่อเตรียมความพร้อม

Sunday afternoon, you are invited to join Oat Montien’s infamous life drawing workshop at “In Nobody’s Service” sala at Phoonpon. Known for his intimate representation of sex workers, The artist will guide you through his process of drawing that would “capture life” of his subject. Beginners are welcome as the session will focus on experimental method of drawing, as well as storytelling inspired by the locality and history of Phoopon.
We with Oat Montien invite LGBT+ people (allies are welcome as well) in Phuket to gather and, while engaging drawing and poetry, exchange conversations on sex workers' and LGBT+ rights. Together we aim to discuss the common histories, spaces, and ties between these two communities. This event continues what Oat has developed during his residency at Patpong Museum few years ago.
There will be a local male model, all drawing materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to walk in and out of the session at anytime, however there’s very limited spots available.

Listening to Bansan: A Polyvocal Inquiry

Phuket’s coastline has always been a crossroads for Siamese, Hokkien, Malay, and other communities, shaped by ancient sea routes and the tin-mining economy. The Baba community emerged from unions between Hokkien miners and local Siamese women, whose unseen labor preserved the island’s celebrated architecture and foodways.
Today, the Talat Nuea and Bansan Market neighborhood, historically linked to trade centers like Penang and Singapore, reflects new movements. Sometimes called “Little Myanmar,” its daily life is sustained by migrant workers from various Myanma communities. This presence echoes older circulations but highlights current inequalities.
Nguyễn + Transitory’s “Listening to Bansan” project uses sound and field recordings to honor Talat Nuea and Bansan Market as a living archive, acknowledging its complex history of movement, labor, and ongoing world-building.

ชุมชนบ่านซ้าน ย่านตลาดเหนือ มีวัฒนธรรมที่เกิดจากการรวมตัวกันระหว่างคนหลายชาติพันธุ์ ตั้งอยู่ท่ามกลางถนนและอาคารพาณิชย์ที่สร้างขึ้นในช่วงเศรษฐกิจดีบุก ซึ่งครั้งหนึ่งชาวฮกเกี้ยน มาเลย์ และชุมชนพลัดถิ่นอื่นๆเคยอาศัย มาค้าขาย และแต่งงานกัน ภายใต้เงื่อนไขอาณานิคมและการค้าทางทะเล
ปัจจุบัน พื้นที่รอบๆ ตลาดเหนือและตลาดบ่านซานถูกหล่อหลอมจากการอพยพอีกระลอกหนึ่ง นั่นคือชาวพม่าที่มาตั้งถิ่นฐานใกล้เคียงตลาดบ่านซ้านเรียกอีกอย่างว่า “พม่าน้อย” หรือ “เมียนมาร์น้อย” การปรากฏตัวของชุมชนนี้สะท้อนการเคลื่อนไหวทางแรงงานในยุคโบราณ ถึงปัจจุบัน
เหงวียน บาลี่ และ ธารา ทรานซิทอรี่ ศิลปินที่อยู่ระหว่างเชียงใหม่และเยอรมนี ขอเชิญผู้สนใจร่วมฟังเสียงและเรื่องเล่าของชุมชนบ่านซ้าน ผ่านงานศิลปะเสียงแบบทดลอง
ซึ่งเป็นการทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันระหว่างศาลา “ที่นี่ไม่เปิดให้บริการ” กับศาลา “Instant Kalpa(s)” สนันสนุนโดยสถาบันเกอเธ่ประเทศไทย
